What is Asterisk
Asterisk is a complete PBX in software. It runs on Linux and provides all
of the features you would expect from a PBX and more. One of these features
is to receive faxes. Here fore a module called spandsp
can be used.
The incoming faxes will be stored in a directory and send to the admins e-mail.
Why TAFM
TAFM will be used to manage the faxes. To give some important information
to the fax. A webinterface is developed which gives information about the
incoming faxes and the last x faxes. Also there is a possibility to browse
through an archive. See how the interface looks like, check the screenshots.
